Professionally... Connie Bird has enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing for over 31 years...the past 12 exclusively in real estate. Her first-hand knowledge of area wide real estate is certainly helpful but she credits most of her success to people skills. She earnestly listens to customer's needs, wants, desires and then makes a match! Treating others like she wants to be treated - honestly, respectfully and with directness is the key to her successful business relationships. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for the Lowcountry with others. Spend some time with Connie and you'll be living here too!

In 1978, Connie and her husband Steve honeymooned in Harbourtown. Like so many before them, they fell in love with the Island's sugar sand beaches, rhythmic surf, majestic oaks, legendary golf and gentle "winters". They dreamed of living "Island style" for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately they returned to Cleveland but dreamed of Hilton Head. Then in June 1982, their dream came true: Steve accepted a position with an island law firm and the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry has been their home ever since! They consider themselves truly blessed to work, play and raise their son, Greg, in such a beautiful place! During their tenure, the Bird family has either resided or owned property in 10 different areas including: Hilton Head Plantation, Sea Pines, Wexford Plantation, Palmetto Dunes Resort, Moss Creek Plantation, Colleton River Plantation, downtown Bluffton, Belfair, Berkeley Hall, Gascoigne Bluff and other riverfront properties. While not necessarily "Young", they certainly can be called "Restless".
By far the best motto is "the golden rule"
