After growing up on Cape Cod, Joan moved to Boca Raton, Florida where she began a 15 year career in the investment business as a Financial Consultant. She moved to Hilton Head island in 1982, married and retired from the financial services industry in order to devote her time and attention to the raising of her two sons.</p> <p>Always creative and innovative, Joan used this time to create her own businesses focused primarily on artistic products such as hand-painted ceramic tiles for kitchen backsplashes and her own brand of ceramic stemware and tableware. Because of her extraordinary eye for color and detail, Joan was able to create a line of ceramics that were eventually bought and distributed by national retail chains. She has also used her artistic talents in the local realestate market having owned and renovated several unique properties on Hilton Head Island. This experience led Joan to her current position as a real estate professional. She is a member of the Hilton Head Realtors Association and the Multiple Listing Service.</p> <p>After spending so many years involved in the investment business, she recognizes the signals that shout opportunity.
